Summer of the "Breaking Dawn"

Last summer brought the final installment in the Harry Potter series and forced readers to say goodbye to favorite characters. Summer 2008 finds readers entranced by the conclusion of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga. Breaking Dawn finds Bella torn between two worlds. What is your take on the concluding volume? Is there a "happily ever after" for Bella and Edward? How do you envision it? What makes the books in the Twilight Saga so compelling for you? Which book was your favorite and why?

Although the ending seemed a bit perfect...I kind of understand why Stephanie Meyer did it that way. The struggles that Bella and Edward faced throughout the book were justified by their "fairy tale" ending.

ATTENTION!! THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS!!

It was extremely creative that she included Bella ending up have a half vampiric child with the love of her life. And how adorable little Renesmee almost killed her own mother. However, I think the most interesting part is when we come to find out that Jacob actually imprints on her.

This book was long, and a bit tedious at the end but,it was worth everybit of the time that I took to read it.. I'm just sad that it has to end now.

I also loved the book, and the whole serious.
I thought it was a bit odd that Bella and Edward had a child, and not cute at all.
Thought I did think it was HILARIOUS that Bella woke up with bruises all over her. :)
Sorry twisted sense of humor. XD
Anyway, the ending annoyed the crap out of me, it WAS to perfect.

Can't what for Edwards point of view in his book, that will be very intresting.

I have read Breaking Dawn many times and each time I read it I get something new out of it. For example, when Edward is watching Bella being eaten away by the newly wedded couple’s baby he himself is being eaten up in a way that he will do anything to get that baby out of her. I also realize the bond between Bella, Jacob, and Edward is strong but so difficult that they fight. Yet in the end, they will protect each other even if it means that one must hurt their own kind. Breaking Dawn has taught me the meaning of love and friendship.
